Das Weekend of Horrors findet seit 10 Jahren jährlich im November im Ruhrgebiet statt und wird auch dieses Jahr im Bottroper Saalbau (Droste-Hülshoff-Platz 4, 46236 Bottrop) auf 2 Etagen präsentiert. Die Besucherinnen und Besucher erwarten meet & greets mit internationalen Stargästen sowie internationalen Händler, kostenlose Film-Screenings, Star-Talks, Ausstellungen, Shows, Uncut-DVD und Blu-ray-Markt, die Indiefilm Section und vieles mehr. Seit Dezember 2014 ist Andrea Krüger alleinige Inhaberin und Veranstalterin des heute einmal jährlich stattfindenden „Weekend of Horrors“. Der damit verbundene, neu eingeschlagenen Weg, trifft schon jetzt auf ein riesengroßes, energievolles Echo. Für 2016 sind insgesamt drei Veranstaltungen geplant.
